The event is a kick off to the National MS Society’s MS Awareness Week (March 12-18) and will feature fresh lunch prepared by Executive Chef Mary Beth Madill, the chance to learn about multiple sclerosis and the National MS Society, and opportunities to win very exciting prizes, including gift cards, Pampered Chef products, sports memorabilia and more.

Mrs. G’s staff members are throwing this event to raise money for the Society’s Walk MS event at Tyler State Park in Newtown, PA, which they’ve been participating in for four years. And we’re proud to say we’ve been a mile marker sponsor of the event for the last three years. Mrs. G’s  Manager Chris Gray, Sales Associate Keith Foerst and Internet Specialist Kim Foerst will all be participating in the 2012 MS Walk.

Multiple sclerosis is a disease that can stop people from moving. It has no known cause or cure. Through fundraisers like the Walk MS events, the National MS Society has funded research that has led to eight FDA-approved treatments for the disease and many more symptom-specific drugs. The Society also provides direct services, such as financial services, counseling, home modifications, transportation to appointments and more for people living with MS in the area.
We hope to see you on Saturday, March 10. Bring your friends along, too. For questions or to RSVP, please call 609-882-1444.
