As 2010 winds down, this is the perfect time to reflect back on what was an outstanding year both in sales and marketing exposure regardless of the continued economic pressures and growing competition.
The year was full of honors starting with receiving the first Legacy Award for Women in Consumer Electronics, the 2010 YWCA of Princeton Tribute to Women Award, Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Small Business Award and being chosen as the keynote speaker at the graduating class of Berkel Training Institute in Trenton, NJ.
With the help of Hilary Morris Solutions, our Mrs. G’s VIB Blogger Events were in full swing with amazing speakers and a Trenton Thunder excursion included press passes. These events expanded Mrs. G’s marketing efforts through social media but the icing on the cake was developing new customers and wonderful friendships with many of them including Hilary, Ed Tseng, Katie DeVito, Robin Birkel, Warren Bobrow, Janie Herman, Jay Bryant and so many more.
Our 2010 Trenton Thunder Minor League Baseball Team partnership was such a success that we are continuing our commitment to the Thunder by sponsoring a mini pack full of prizes for 2011. During the 2010 season, 7 lucky and truly surprised Trenton Thunder ticket holders won either a Bosch, Maytag, Frigidaire or GE Washer and Dryer, Weber grill, Miele vacuum or a Mitsubishi TV. The 2011 Mini Pack will include Washers and Dryers from GE, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, and Bosch and a Miele Vacuum. Stay tuned for a kick off of the Mrs. G’s Trenton Thunder Mini Pack at the end of February were we will be giving away a Weber grill.
2010 celebrated Mrs. G’s 75th year in business. How about that! It was a beautiful day late September with over 450 people attending our Making Life Easier Celebration. The seminars, grilling demonstrations and presentations of proclamations from local officials demonstrated our commitment to our local community. We hope to make Mrs. G’s Making Life Easier an annual event.
Mrs. G’s is very proud to be able to support local charitable and community events. During 2010 we supported Sustainable Lawrence, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Princeton Day School, Montgomery Township Educational Foundation, The Pennington School, The Church of St. Ann, NAACP, YWCA Princeton, Historical Society of Princeton, Princeton Public Library, Mercer County Community College, Glazier Jewish Center, American Red Cross, Robbinsville Post Prom, and so much more. Mrs. G’s is one of many small locally owned business that give back to their community. That is why it is so important to support locally owned business. We care!
Thank you to all my friends and clients that have made this year a very special one.
Looking forward to 2011!!!
Have a Healthy and a Very Happy New Year!
With lots of love, Debbie
