Mrs. G TV & Appliances is celebrating 77 years in business! Join us on Saturday, September 29th for the Anniversary Celebration and Showroom Sale. The event represents CEO Debbie Schaeffer’s and Mrs. G’s commitment to the philosophy of buying local and supporting local. That is why in addition to offering a one-day sale, Mrs. G’s is also joining with the community and local businesses to provide a fun filled event. It will feature a sale, an antiques roadshow, an independent retailer home décor fair, and more.
Appliance Showroom Sale
During our 77th anniversary event, there will be a storewide showroom sale all day. To celebrate 77 years in business, for one day only, we will pay your sales tax!* Now is the perfect time to shop for a new range, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop, oven, washer, dryer, or any other appliance. Remember this is for one day only. Enjoy the storewide savings! We appreciate your support of local business.
*This is an INSTANT REBATE from Mrs. G TV and Appliances. The rebate will be entered on the sales receipt at the time the sale is written. The sales tax will be paid to NJ or PA at the proper rate, our rebate in no way diminishes the tax we pay to NJ or PA. The rebate is valid on sales written only on 9/29/12 and prior sales are excluded. The rebate is limited to a maximum of $700.00 in sales tax rebate. Antiques Roadshow with Empire Antiques
The anniversary celebration will feature an antiques road show from 1pm to 4pm with locally owned Empire Antiques of Hightstown. You can bring your antiques of any size to the store for free appraisals with owner Gene Pascucci and his team. For oversized items, just bring a picture of the item with dimensions if it is too large to carry. Empire also does cash for gold & silver exchanges. No appointment is necessary before you arrive. You can just show up with your item, or you can pre-register by visiting our anniversary sale page, to guarantee a spot.
Local Retailers Home Décor Fair
In further support of independent retailers we will be hosting a vendor fair of local home decor retailers. You can browse the fair while you shop. They will help prepare you for your next big home renovation project or help you get your kitchen and home ready for the holidays. The following local retailers will be at the event:
• The Paint Barn, Mercerville: A Benjamin Moore Consultant will be on hand to provide advice and answer any questions.
• Window Accents, Princeton: A retailer that specializes in window treatments, blinds, drapery, fabrics, and more.
• A Step in Stone, Skillman: The experts in tile and stone design
• The Light Gallery, Princeton: The lighting professionals for lighting design and fixtures
In addition to all of this, there will also be live entertainment provided by 107.7 The Bronc, Rider University’s campus radio station that will be broadcasting the event. Plus, there will also be food prepared by Mrs. G Executive Chef Mary Beth Madill. She will not only be cooking, but also will be available to provide advice and answer appliance-related cooking questions.
This will be one appliance sale and celebration you won’t want to miss. Not only will you find the best deals in appliances, but you’ll also have access to free appraisals, a local vendor fair, some amazing food, and most importantly, you will be supporting local, independent business.
