As I write this blog, it is still unseasonably cold in Lawrence Twp, NJ however it is April 2017 and that means grilling season is here. What’s different about this season? A new generation of Weber Genesis® Gas Grills are available now. Our #1 selling grill from Weber is the Genesis® grills. For the 2017 grilling season, they now have a totally new look with bigger cooking surfaces and more power. We like that!

The new Weber Genesis® Grills come in two series II and II LX. The Genesis® II and the Genesis® II LX have many of the same features and components; such as the GS4™high performance grilling system, side tables and is iGrill®3 campatible. We love the new GS4™ grilling system that includes infinity™ ignition; guaranteed to ignite every time. Backed by a generous warranty of 10 years, ignition start (excluding battery and battery damage). The high performance burners provides superior heat distribution insuring the food is grilled evenly no matter where it is on the grill.

Let’s focus on the cooking grates for the Genesis® II for a moment. Genesis® II cooking grates are porcelain-enameled cast iron. However, we have a special edition model SE-410. This means the Genesis® II will come with 7mm stainless steel grates. Another bonus, this model comes in 4 different lid colors: Black, Copper, Crimson, and Smoke.

The 7204 iGrill® 3 takes the guesswork out of grilling. The Bluetooth® thermometer monitors the internal temperature of food from beginning to end and will signal you once the food reaches the desired temperature. iGrill® 3 ready means you can install the thermometer in the side of the table and sync it to your mobile device. Connect up to four temperature probes. The iGrill app also displays the amount of fuel left in the gas tank.
