Come to the Farm2Grill Event This Weekend, Sunday April 29th!

Come on out to Mrs. G TV & Appliances on Sunday, April 29 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM for our 2nd Annual Farm 2 Grill Event! Celebrate Earth Month with a free and family-friendly Jersey fresh market featuring locally grown food and goods to sample and purchase.

Like last year, this event will be an outdoor party you won’t want to miss. This year’s event will feature 8 New Jersey farmers markets participating. Mrs. G’s executive chef Mary Beth Madill will be cooking up fresh local food on Weber grills, and Store Manager Chris Gray will show you how to turn your regular charcoal kettle grill into a pizza oven! There will also be over 20 Weber grills on display and on SALE!, with free assembly and free FAST! delivery. We’ll also have  DJs from 107.7 WRRC The Bronc from Rider University playing great music and hosting live interviews with all the locally owned vendors and guests.

The KettlePizza kit, which can be purchased through us, will be demoed this weekend.

Plus, don’t miss our FREE workshop at 1:30 p.m. “Starting Your Own Vegetable Garden” by Judith Robinson, manager of the Princeton Farmers’ Market. RSVP for the gardening workshop at info@mrsgs.com or 609-882-1444.

Meet our vendors:

Bamboo Hollow Apiaries and Honey Farms

This vendor is known for its natural, pure, local, raw honeys, which are made by their very own honey bees living in various locations within Mercer, Somerset and Hunterdon counties of Central New Jersey.
Their local raw honey from NJ is always labeled with its location of origin (e.g. Princeton) and is lightly filtered and never processed (i.e. heated) so that it may retain its wholesome properties as the bees produced it.

Terhune Orchards

Apple picking, pumpkin picking, cider, pies, farm animals, pick-your-own, field trips, farm market, gift baskets and more can be found at the Mount Family’s 200 fruit- and vegetable-producing acres noted for quality products and country-style service. Terhune Orchards Farm Store attracts local people doing their daily shopping as well as visitors on their way through the Princeton area. The Farm Store and Farm Yard are open every day, all year long.
